GUEST

Shay Lhea's art has always reflected her interest in the uncanny and macabre, and while she irst began creating through sculpture and using paint, eventually her inclinations shifted to creating art that people could physically embody, as opposed to art they were restricted to simply looking at. Masks can be found in all cultures through all eras of human existence and Shay Lhea likes to imagine that in her own way, through her own imagination, she is also carrying the mask-making torch into a new age in order to remind people of how important masks are to our existence and in the human experience, regardless of whether they're tangible or intangible.
